Project Assistant (Intern)
About Nteractive
Location: UK Hybrid (1 day in office) with frequent international travel
Type: Paid 12-month Internship / Early Career Opportunity
Contract: Full-time, 40 hours/week, fixed-term
At Nteractive, we bring experiences to life. Whether it’s global events, internal communications, or transformative campaigns, we help some of the world’s biggest brands connect with their people in extraordinary ways. And none of that happens without the right people, in the right place, at the right time.
We are specialists in the technology sector, creating unforgettable live brand experiences — from product launches and conferences to VIP programmes, exhibitions, digital campaigns, and internal communications.
Are you looking to kick-start your career in the exciting world of events, and are you someone who enjoys staying organised, loves making things happen behind the scenes, and wants to learn how standout events are delivered?
We’re now looking for a motivated Project Assistant (Intern) to join the team at Nteractive, who will be at the centre of bringing live experiences to life, supporting the delivery of conferences, incentives and large-scale events for global brands. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn how major events are planned and delivered from the inside. You'll support experienced project managers and rotate across different departments of the business including Event Services, Production and Food & Beverage (F&B) to gain hands-on experience within a fast-paced events agency environment, with the chance to travel internationally to support event delivery.
This is a paid, 12-month internship on a fixed-term contract (full-time 40 hours/week), with a hybrid working model (1 day per week in our Surrey office), with frequent international travel required
What you'll be doing
- Coordinating crew travel and accommodation, including arranging and documenting logistics for Nteractive team members, while maintaining crew logs and a crew master tracking document ensuring updates’ accuracy and compliance.
- Managing communications across email, Teams, and phone, using strong email etiquette and organising inbox workflows (creating folders, correct filing, setting Out of Office messages with calendar visibility)
- Supporting project delivery by keeping timelines and trackers updated, including deadlines, ownership, and status updates across your responsible areas.
- Creating decks and conducting research by building and formatting PowerPoint decks in line with Nteractive brand guidelines, while researching venues, suppliers, and entertainment options and managing related communications.
- Assisting production (purchasing/fulfilment) by creating shopping lists, managing order forms, coordinating purchases, and reconciling receipts/financials in line with internal processes.
- Supporting site visits and pre-production by drafting and planning site visits agendas, capturing outcomes, and next steps, while working with standard project documents and team job instructions.
- Learning to read and understand floorplans and supporting onsite planning tasks as directed.
- Gaining F&B operational exposure by supporting F&B documentation and operational delivery, including working from event orders (BEOs), understanding service styles (buffet/plated/stations), supporting allergen awareness processes, and escalating live issues appropriately.
- Providing reliable onsite support at end-user conferences, incentive events, or other project types, helping with logs, runner tasks, logistics coordination, and issue escalation.
- Driving continuous improvement and values by always demonstrating the Nteractive values and proactively learning from feedback to enhance support quality.
