Project Director – Events
Location: United States (Remote with domestic & international travel)

We’re seeking a Project Director to take the lead on our largest, most complex programs in event services. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-moving, hands-on environment, can keep multiple workstreams running smoothly, and knows how to inspire teams to deliver exceptional outcomes.
What you'll be doing
As Project Director, you’ll be responsible for the strategy, planning, and flawless execution of large-scale events (5,000–13,000 attendees). Working in partnership with the Account Director, you’ll manage teams, processes, and budgets to bring every aspect of the event to life.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partnering with clients to understand their goals and translate them into creative, impactful event experiences.
- Leading project planning, documentation, and scheduling to keep everything on track and on budget.
- Overseeing all delivery workstreams – including logistics, production, creative, technical production, F&B, and exhibitions.
- Managing budgets up to $15M, delivering accurate monthly forecasts, and finding opportunities for cost optimization.
- Acting as the primary day-to-day client contact, building strong relationships and addressing issues proactively.
- Leading teams of 50+ people onsite, solving challenges in real time to ensure smooth execution.
- Driving post-event reviews, using data and attendee feedback to inform recommendations for future improvements.
What you will bring
We’re looking for a proactive, highly organized leader who can stay calm under pressure and deliver extraordinary results.
You should have:
- 8+ years of experience managing complex events at a senior level (5,000–13,000 attendees).
- Strong background managing large budgets ($10M–$15M) and ensuring financial accountability.
- Proven ability to motivate, mentor, and lead large teams to deliver best-in-class work.
- Experience collaborating with creative and production teams on large-scale build projects.
- Exceptional client-facing skills, with the ability to anticipate needs and communicate solutions clearly.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong PowerPoint and general IT proficiency.
- A can-do mindset, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work across multiple priorities at pace.

Other requirements:
- Quiet home environment from which to work.
- Minimum of 25MB download and 2MB upload speed for home broadband capacity to meet Nteractive homeworking business requirements.
- Liking for and ability to undertake international travel throughout the calendar
- Flexibility to work across multiple time zones as required
Compensation: $115,000 - $130,000
Compensation is determined on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience, along with its relationship to the base salaries of current team members that are similarly situated.
