We’re looking for a highly driven, strategic, and collaborative Events Account Director, with at least         10 years experience working in an Events agency, to join our growing team. This role is perfect for someone who loves building strong client relationships, thrives on leading complex projects, and wants to play a key role in growing client accounts while delivering exceptional event experiences.
What you'll be doing
As Account Director, you’ll be accountable for managing client relationships, expectations, and business development while leading teams to deliver a seamless, high-quality service. You’ll work collaboratively with colleagues across Nteractive to ensure accounts are profitable, projects are delivered to the highest standard, and new opportunities are identified and developed. 

Key responsibilities include: 
  • Building, maintaining, and growing client accounts while proactively seeking new opportunities.
  • Acting as a advisor and client lead, developing strong, trusted relationships and resolving issues quickly and effectively.
  • Leading proposals and ensuring event solutions are commercially viable and deliver value for money.
  • Managing event budgets, identifying risks early, and collaborating with colleagues and clients to resolve challenges.
  • Representing the client on-site at events, ensuring flawless execution and a seamless experience.
  • Coaching and mentoring project delivery teams, empowering them to deliver their best work.
  • Partnering with the new business team to proactively present credentials, respond to RFPs, and pitch for new opportunities.
  • Continuously improving client relationships through feedback analysis and tailored improvement plans.
What you will bring
  • We’re looking for someone who is commercially minded, client-focused, and passionate about delivering exceptional events. 
  • Significant experience at Account Director level (or similar senior role) within an event agency.
  • Experience working with international clients, particularly stakeholders based in EMEA and beyond.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, delivering on time and on budget.
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen, including experience with budgets and contracts.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • A collaborative leadership style, with experience mentoring and developing project teams.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong ICT competence.
  • A growth mindset and proactive, solution-focused approach.

  •  Other requirements:  
    • Quiet home environment from which to work.
    • Minimum of 25MB download and 2MB upload speed for home broadband capacity to meet Nteractive homeworking business requirements.
    • Liking for and ability to undertake international travel throughout the calendar
    • Flexibility to work across multiple time zones as require
