What you'll be doing
We have an exciting opportunity on a permanent basis for Senior Managers to join our team to work on a global multi city tour. In this role you will be responsible for delivering exceptional sponsor (exhibitor) experiences in a fast-paced exciting environment! You will have direct reports to manage, supporting those sponsorship experience managers, who’ll manage the day-to-day sponsor contact. You will also be working collaboratively with the client, vendors, and colleagues to provide seamless delivery, a cycle of continuous engagement for the sponsors.
Supporting the development of strategic relationships with sponsor accounts to achieve long term, high value relationships. Partner with the sales team, the client, and the sponsors to understand both sponsor and client objectives and business needs. Contributing to the achievement of exceeding revenue targets through the delivery of world class sponsorship experiences and seamless end-to-end delivery of the sponsors' participation in events. Acting as project manager within the region to support local teams in planning, preparation, and decision making with clients, vendors, and sponsors.
This role would suit someone who has a passion for working with sponsors / exhibitors, has prior experience working in events, conference sponsorship / exhibition execution, as well as strong project management and excellent communication skills. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on working in fast paced environment and who enjoys extensive global travel.
What you will bring
Project management - Project manage the sponsorship regional experiences (approx. 15 events) acting as a point of contact for the client and extended team
- Join / lead client and vendor calls, coordinating with sponsorship event director and regional teams to share updates and announcements to event and sponsor experience.
- Communicate effectively at all levels and identify how event design, production, or logistic experiences may impact sponsorship; floorplan design, lunch hours, agenda framework, etc
- Review, adjust and communicate overall workback schedule, event timelines, and sponsorship deadlines as necessary.
- Proactively develop and implement processes for delivery of these sponsorship packages and MPOs.
Direct sponsor management - Guide sponsors and exhibitors through their sponsorship participation in client shows (for example booth experiences, digital elements, content and sessions, graphics, registration etc), and in tandem working with client workstreams across those elements of the package to fully execute the sponsorship elements.
- Be the sought-after of “voice of the sponsor” influencing teams and vendors to think “sponsor first” in an integrated manner that enhances the sponsors and attendee experience.
- Collaborating with client workstreams to identify timelines and execute on each area of the packages and additional marketing opportunities (MPOS).
- Contribute to the development, communication and management of sponsor readiness materials, content guidance, policies, tech specs, key dates review processes approvals etc.
- Where appropriate, contribute to the financial management of sponsorship packages inclusions and MPOs in conjunction with vendors and client teams, may include tracking, forecasting, reporting and risk mitigation.
- Support in the development and maintenance of strategic relationships with senior level sponsor decisions makers to proactively identify and drive (in collaboration with sales) cross-sell / upsell opportunities, ultimately driving revenue growth and revenue retention.
- Drive the continuous improvement of the client and sponsor relationship and sponsor opportunities across mediums through analysis of client and sponsor, identify an improvement plan to add value.
Team management - Direct line management of 2 – 6 team members (includes coaching, development, 1 on 1s etc)
- Be a key player in project teams providing day to day guidance, sharing knowledge and experience to develop skills that model the Nteractive values at all times.
- Experience or working in sponsorship/exhibition execution at a high level or relevant transferable skills.
- Proven project management skills, running multiple projects on time and to budget
- Proven experience of working directly with clients and key stakeholders
- Proven experience of delivering sponsorship / exhibition packages
- Ability to work at pace, under pressure and across multiple events and projects
- Ability to manage a small team in region
- Proven excel and PPT skills.
- Strong business acumen with and intellectual curiosity
- Experience of working with the Microsoft eco-system is desirable
