HR Administrator - Six Month Contract

Position Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a HR Administrator to join on a fixed term contract for six months (with a possibility of extending). This role would suit an individual who is looking to develop a career in HR, People & Culture and gain valuable experience across the broad spectrum of HR responsibilities. The HR Administrator will be responsible for providing the People & Culture team with administrative support, ensuring that the department runs efficiently on a day-to-day basis. 

With exceptional co-ordination skills the HR Administrator will work across multiple projects at once, from onboarding new employees to issuing contracts and letters, updating the HRIS to providing benefit quotes. No two day is the same! 

This role requires someone with excellent communication and strong administration skills while possessing a high level of professionalism and discretion. The ideal candidate must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with a pro-active attitude.  The role is required to be office based 1-2 days a week. 

Responsibilities
  • Create and issue of contracts, letters and official paperwork for new and existing employees
  • Maintain employee records, update the HRIS and any relevant databases to ensure accurate information is maintain at all times
  • Monitor the HR inbox and responding to day-to-day queries in a timely manner
  • Issue birthday cards, gifts and any other employee recognition awards
  • Ensure eligible employees are enrolled into benefits in a timely manner, providing quotes, updating records and issuing paperwork as required
  • Support the Talent Acquisition Manager and Head of People & Culture with any recruitment, arranging interviews, corresponding with candidates and keeping databases updated. 
  • Arrange the booking of any training courses and maintain accurate learning and development records
  • Support with the organisation of any team or company social, cultural or in person activities
  • Supporting on ad hoc HR projects to provide administrative support and timely completion.
  • Undertake data analysis and data reporting as required for engagement surveys, reporting or record keeping
  • Undertake right to work checks and DSE assessments as required, keeping accurate records
Skills, experience, and competencies

The ideal candidate should have the following skills and experiences: 

  • Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in a fast-paced environment
  • HR or Business Administration degree, or CIPD Level 3 qualification preferred
  • Proficient ICT skills with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) for efficient document creation
  • Familiarity with HR software and systems, such as HRIS (Human Resources Information System), for effective personnel management and operations
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills both written and orally with the ability to adapt communication styles to suit different audiences and contexts

 
And should exude the following competencies: 

  • Ability to work well in a team to ensure collaboration among team members
  • High levels of organised and detail-oriented approach to ensure tasks are completed accurately and efficiently
  • Effective communication and customer service skills to ensure positive interactions and satisfaction.
  • High levels of professionalism and discretion are mandatory in this role





We would also like you to have


  • Hybrid working office based 1-2 days per week and a quiet home working environment in which to work
  • Minimum of 25MB download and 2MB upload speed for home broadband capacity to meet Nteractive homeworking business requirements
Base: up to £30,000
Note that compensation is subject to factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience, along with its relationship to the base salaries of current team members that are similarly situated.
